Fugatto – a AI model that is changing the world of sound creation

NVIDIA has introduced a new AI model called Fugatto, which allows users to create any combination of sounds using text prompts and audio recordings.

Context

The Fugatto model has a unique ability to perform various sound tasks that would have been difficult or even impossible in the past. For example, it can:

Create a piece of music based on a textual description

Modify voice accent or emotion

Remove or add instruments to existing compositions,

Create completely new sounds that did not exist before,

Create soundscapes in which sounds change over time, such as a rainstorm that gradually transitions into birds singing at dawn.

With Fugatto, you can also control subtle sound characteristics such as the strength of an accent or the intensity of emotions.

What does this mean?

Fugatto opens many new doors in the field of creativity. Music producers can use this model to quickly generate prototypes of compositions, as well as modify existing compositions. Advertising agencies will be able to quickly adapt different voices and emotions to target audiences, and game developers will be able to dynamically change sounds according to the game's actions. There may even be new personalized language learning tools that allow you to use any voice you want. Thus, Fugatto's flexibility and creative control will significantly change the processes of sound design and music creation.

  • Frames – for creating images: Runway has introduced a new artificial intelligence model called Frames, which allows users to create photorealistic images and control style through special environments. This model will become part of the Gen-3 Alpha platform and will enable the creation of impressive videos.

  • Gen Z and AI: According to a Google Workspace study, 82% of Gen Z managers and 93% of Gen Z newsroom employees regularly use AI tools in their work. Respondents said that AI makes it easier to start tasks, improve writing, and complete daily work tasks faster and more efficiently.

  • A book in 3 weeks: The publishing platform Spines plans to publish 8,000 books with the help of AI by 2025. AI will shorten the entire process, from manuscript to published book, to three weeks.

How to test different AI models simultaneously?

If you haven't met him yet, let us introduce you to Jarvis, an AI assistant that will help you manage your daily tasks more efficiently and automate various processes. Jarvis uses GPT, Gemini, and Claude models, so it has a fairly wide range of response options. Let's take a look at what you can do with it and how.

Step #1: Installation

First, install the Jarvis plugin or download the app. It is compatible with Android, Mac, and Windows.

I chose the plugin option.

Step #2: Submit your request

Once you have activated Jarvis, ask it to perform the desired actions. For example:

Translate text,

Create and edit text,

Generate ideas,

Analyze data,

Provide quick answers to various questions.

Step #3: Selecting a model

If you are not satisfied with the response from one model, select another model and request the same task. In this case, I preferred the Gemini 1.5 Pro variant significantly more than the GPT-4o mini.

So, Jarvis is a pretty cool tool that has a free version allowing you to enter 30 new queries every day. It is easy to integrate, use, and access, and you can easily change the AI model you are using.

If the choice of the three main language models is not enough, try Poe. This tool not only allows you to access countless language models on a single platform, but also to create your own chatbot. The only difference is that Poe needs to be downloaded and used as a separate platform, while Jarvis works as a Chrome extension.
