AI articles surpass human written content

The amount of AI generated articles has already surpassed the amount of human-written text on the internet, but this trend has slowed since May 2024. Although AI content is abundant, research shows that it is rarely recognized by Google search or ChatGPT.
Context
The boom in AI content began after ChatGPT was launched in November 2022. At that time, AI articles accounted for nearly 40% of all published material over the course of a year. Studies show that such texts are often comparable in quality to those written by humans, and readers find it difficult to distinguish their origin.
However, the rapid growth has stalled, and the share of AI articles has remained virtually unchanged over the past year. Researchers believe this is due to the poor performance of AI content in search results, as it does not receive the same visibility as human written texts.
What does this mean?
Although AI content has become commonplace, it does not guarantee traffic or results on its own. On the other hand, high-quality AI content does not harm SEO goals either. Either way, businesses need not only to generate text on a massive scale, but also to ensure its quality, relevance, and optimization for search engines.
The growth of AI content on the internet raises questions have we also learned to use AI in such a way that it appears to be written by a human?
HEADLINES
Erotic ChatGPT: Starting in December, OpenAI will introduce age verification and allow verified adult users to access erotic content on ChatGPT. Developers will also be able to create adult only apps with new security controls. These steps are in response to competitors such as xAI's flirtatious anime-style AI companions.
Google helps you schedule meetings: Google introduces a new "Help me schedule" feature with Gemini AI, which automatically suggests possible times for a planned meeting based on Google Calendar and the context of the email. Users can insert suggestions directly into the email, and once a time is selected, a calendar invitation is created automatically.
New image model: Microsoft has unveiled its first text-driven image model, MAI-Image-1, which is designed to make images look creative rather than overly similar. The model is capable of generating realistic landscapes and does so faster than larger AI models. In this way, Microsoft is seeking to develop AI technologies independently, rather than relying solely on its partnership with OpenAI.
Google Ads is changing: Google is changing how it labels paid ads, replacing the "Ad" label with "Sponsored." In addition, users will be given the option to hide unwanted ads. This means that poorly targeted or irrelevant ads may lose visibility more quickly, but the remaining clicks will be of higher quality and more likely to lead to a purchase.
AI in practice: How to get dozens of short clips from one video. Quso.ai
If you create video content for your YouTube channel, or perhaps you have a single long video that you now want to split into short clips, the Quso.ai tool can help you. You can use these clips, which take just a couple of minutes to create, for advertising purposes, upload them to social media platforms, and even easily adapt them for TikTok, Instagram, or elsewhere.
Step #1: Sign up
Sign up for Quso.ai. Signing up is free and does not require a credit card, and as a new user, you will immediately receive credits that you can use to shorten or edit clips. If you want to use this tool more often or for more features, you may need a paid plan.
Step #2: Create AI Clips
To shorten a video into shorter clips, click "Create AI Clips."
However, with Quso, you can do more than just this; you can also perform other actions for video editing or working with social networks.

Step #3: Upload a video
Upload a video link from YouTube or simply upload the entire video file.
Quso will then ask you to select the language of the video. Unfortunately, Lithuanian is not yet available among the options, but you can experiment with videos that do not have an audio track or select English and then correct any language errors during editing.

Step #4: Review the clips
It took Quso just a couple of minutes to shorten the clips. It turned an 18-minute video into 9 shorter clips.
Review the resulting videos. The tool will also show you the likelihood of a particular clip going viral, i.e., receiving a large number of views.
It is very convenient that Quso immediately adds subtitles, so you don't need to use any other tool for that.
Step #5: Edit the clips
Now you can choose the video clip format you want (portrait, landscape, etc.), use AI editing tools such as silent gap removal, and perform standard editing such as changing the color and size of titles, editing words, etc.

Try it!
